4-year Technical Joint Selection Committee – Important notes
Article 1 Based on the school "Notes for Joint Inspection and Admission", a committee was established within the department.
Article 2 The committee shall, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the school, handle matters concerning the selection of schools.
Article 3 The members of the committee shall consist 5 or more members, and the convener shall be the head of the department. The remaining members shall be appointed by the Department or the full-time faculties of the relevant departments at the beginning of the first semester of each academic year. External experts, scholars and social justice may serve as a member of the committee.
Article 4 The Executive Secretary shall be appointed by the committee.
Article 5 The committee shall oversee the following matters:
1) Determine selection criteria, inspection components, means of admission, number of students to be enrolled and other related matters for the department, and to report to the school enrollment committee.
2) Prepare criteria for admission and qualification.
3) Develop a scoring system for inspection components.
4) Develop “Information inspection review” and relevant guidelines.
5) Conduct interview and written review, and provide score.
6) Handle all other related activities.
Article 6 In the implementation of Articles 1 to 5, a meeting shall be held by the convener and shall be attended by more than two-thirds of the members of the committee. If the convener is unable to convene the committee for any reason, an acting convener shall be appointed separately and shall be enforced after the approval of the school principal.
Article 7 To make the selection process open and transparent, the detailed scoring method, scoring standard, scoring component and scoring procedure will be published on the department website one week before application commenced.
Article 8 4-year Technical Joint Selection - selection component and scoring criteria for the department are as follows:
1. TVE joint college entrance examination results (50%)
(1) Chinese
(2) English
(3) Mathematics
(4) Specific subject 1
(5) Specific subject 2
2. Written review (25%)
(1) Resume and autobiography (5%)
(2) Transcripts (10%)
(3) Project work (10%)
3. Interview (25%)
(1) Attire (5%)
(2) Self-introduction (10%)
(3) Question and answer (10%)
Article 9 Four-year Technical Joint Selection – skill enrollment - selection component and scoring criteria for the department are as follows:
1. Specific component: Written review.
2. Written review (100%)
(1) High school academic record (35%)
(2) Resume and autobiography (25%)
(3) Participation and results of related competition, certification, participation and performance in community activities and class committee (40%)
Article 10 No name lists shall be made public, and committee members shall not speak or accept an interview on selection matters during their term.
Article 11 Committee members and their related counterparts shall avoid participation in the selection process if their relatives within the third-degree have signed up for the examination.
Article 12 To safeguard the rights and interests of students, if there is a huge disparity in the scores, the scoring will be reviewed again by the committee members.
Article 14 If any of the candidates has any doubt, they shall contact the enrollment committee of the school by writing.
Article 15 All outstanding matters shall be handled in accordance with the relevant provisions.
Article 16 All articles have been endorsed by the department and approved by the school Principal. The articles are implemented with effect upon approval.
